2024 Membership Categories:

HQ 2024 Player Levies and Classifications:
The Hockey Queensland (HQ) Board has reviewed the classifications set for 2024. 

With one fee those that play Outdoor and Indoor will not have to register again for the Indoor season
their outdoor fee will allow them to continue to play in the Indoor competitions. For those Indoor players
who participate in indoor competitions in 2023 before the outdoor season commences and will be
required to pay their full registration to continue playing in January 2024. However, they will not have to
pay again when Indoor starts in September 2024, even if they don’t play outdoor.

The table below provides the definition of the 2024 Player Levy Classifications.

Payment Class                                                   Definition

Hookin2 Hockey/Program Player Levy          For non-competitive juniors participating in term by term or introduction to
                                                                          hockey programs.

Junior Player Levy (18 & Under)                  For competitive juniors playing in fixtures for either or both Outdoor and
                                                                        Indoor seasons.

Student Player Levy (19-24yrs)                     For competitive students aged 19-24 playing in fixtures for either or both
                                                                        Outdoor and Indoor seasons. Must provide student ID at time of registration.

Senior Player Levy (19+)                              For competitive seniors aged 19 and over in fixtures be it on turf, grass,
                                                                       masters or Indoor competitions.

10 Game Player Levy                                   For competitive seniors that can only commit to 10 games for either Outdoor
                                                                      or Indoor. The 10 games must be completed in the same competition. To be
                                                                      eligible the Association must be using Rev Sport for their competition
                                                                      management. Note that 10 Pack Members cannot use a 10 pack membership
                                                                      to play in State or National Championships and must be a Senior member to
                                                                      be eligible to play in these events.

Social/Adult Program Player Levy             For senior introduction to hockey activities held during the summer season. If
                                                                     Associations wish to use this payment class in the winter season, they must
                                                                     request permission from Hockey Queensland with details of the program
                                                                     before being allocated this levy classification.

Junior Term 4 (Payment class not            For junior players who have not played any competitive hockey all year and                                                   active until September 2024)                    want to play either indoor in the last quarter of the year. Oct-Dec
